So over the holidays, okay not just the holidays who am I kidding… Over the past couple of months I’ve put on some weight. Looking at something like 9 pounds. I should be ashamed, but I’m not. I can’t even tell where they went. I was suffering from severe anxiety and tension that lead me to the doctor’s office numerous times.
I had to stop working out and doing anything that would require much of me being stressed. For those of you that don’t know I have 3 kids and I am also a middle school teacher. Haha! I’m so screwed!
Anyhow back to my weight. I decided to try out Yoga Glow since I have zero time to make it to a proper yoga class. It is the best. It offers classes that are as short as 5 minutes to however much time you have to dedicate. You can do yoga at home just like you would in a studio. You are able to choose your favorite classes and instructors and work at your own pace and access from any device. If you feel like there’s no time to squeeze this in to your daily routine, you’ll be surprised.
Yoga has really helped me reach a flexibility I never had before. I can touch my toes now, I’ve NEVER been able to, til now. I have picked up a workout routine and started back up on my 30/40/30 diet. Slowly, I’m planning to make progress. I don’t think it’s too late for a new year’s resolution, but i am determined to get back on track with exercise and diet. I am in much need to fit right back into may pants!!!
